Lady Bunny in New York for Hanukkah and Christmas

HO HO  HO!
 She’s Back!

“I like offensive humor and I’m sure this will offend some. I may even be
called anti-semitic. But organized religion bashes gay people every
damn day, so I’m really not too concerned with their feelings. From the
horrific widespread child abuse by priests in the Catholic church to the
bizarre practice of forcing your women to wear wigs and screwing them
through a hole in a sheet, organized religions often deserve to be
mocked.

I have relatives who are Jehovah’s Witnesses who would rather
let their own kid die rather than share their blood with them via a
“sinful” transfusion. It’s all insane to me. Believe whatever you
choose, but don’t deny my right to make fun of it. Besides, I feel a
real kinship with women of the orthodox jewish faith: my men prefer me
in wigs, too! And while they don’t use a sheet, from time to time they
have put paper bags over my head.

Lady Bunny – Tuesdays in Oct. & Nov.at Escualita

Last Tuesday was the first in a series of Lady Bunny shows at Esculita.  Bunny is performing That Ain’t No Lady every Tuesday this month.

SHOWS ARE SELLING OUT!
EXTENDED THRU NOVEMBER!

The opening night audience was filled with movers and shakers and the show got a big thumbs up from everyone in attendance!

We caught up with Bunny this week!

We know that you travel ALL OF THE TIME. You are the hardest working queen we know!   In know you DJ  at times  in NYC,  When is the last time you performed your act in NYC?

I’ve done bits and pieces here and there, but it’s been a decade since my last full-length show at Fez in NYC. I’ve tried a lot of new stuff out while gigging around the country and feel that I have enough material to mount a new full-length cabaret show.

Why the series of shows in NYC  now, 4 weeks in a row? – How did that come about?

It’s Year Of The Rabbit! And while I enjoyed being on Drag U, I think I’m better when I’m uncensored–as I definitely am in this show. A cabaret audience is very different for me because I normally play clubs–but with a great stage and lighting, Escuelita is a perfect mix of club and cabaret. Since they do a strip night called Hunk-O-Mania for ladies on weekends, they have very comfortable cabaret seating with tables, chairs and couches. Sometimes the ladies leave the seats a little moist, though!

Another reason to check this show out is that drag shows have become very expensive. The price of mine is as cheap as my humor–$14.98–and there’s only a 1 drink minimum. But since my singing has been known to drive people to drink, there is a strictly enforced 25 drink maximum!

We just saw you in Chicago – and you did sort of a 2 act show…will the NY  show be like that?  or something  different?

This show is more of a production with lighting cues, sound cues, a fog machine, videos which play while I change costumes, etc. And I’m singing everything live–which is a challenge when you are juggling a microphone, lighter and Whitney Houston’s crackpipe!

I have some new snippets in my parody medleys by CeeLo, Britney, Katy Perry, Taio Cruz and Kelly Rowland. And my Laugh-In joke routine has been updated to include jokes about Gaga, Kardashian, Justin Bieber and today’s celebs. It’s actually a very ‘young” show–despite it’s ancient star! And I’m joined onstage by several sexy dancers from La Escuelita. They are so gorgeous that it’s tough to focus on my work at times!

Are you taking time off the road – or still traveling in between shows?

Within two months,  I’m either deejaying or performing in Atlanta, Palm Springs, Boston, Denver, Detroit, Hawaii, San Francisco, Houston, Sao Paolo and Toronto. But all of these gigs are on the weekend so I can always make it back for my Tuesday cabaret show and then hit the road again. I’ve never been to Brazil so I can’t wait!

Will  Wigstock ever return?

There has been some talk about it but it’s very tricky. We stopped it after getting rained out two years in a row.  Also, in a recession, sponsors aren’t as flush with cash and as our crowds grew into the tens of thousands, the stage, sound and jumbotron video screen rental sent our production costs to the moon. And honestly, I’m not sure that NYC is the same place it once was. Like every other city  it feels corporate and not nearly as funky and bohemian as it used to be. The great thing about Wigstock is that drag queens would mix with homeless people, transsexuals, pier queens, club kids and average New Yorkers. Now average Manhattanites are trust fund kids wearing Prada who act like Sex And The City wannabes. They want to be Kim Kardashian–do you really think they could appreciate Leigh Bowery or Kevin Aviance?  Still, we never say never. But it helped when New York was filled with creative people who now can’t afford to live here. If we are going to do the festival again, we need an appreciative audinece.

I heard about a new DVD  coming – of the parody songs…can you tell us more??

I have a lot of new videos that have been popular online so I am cutting together a new dvd to be ready December 1st. Like A Cheese Stick, Firework, My salutes to Burlesque, Sarah Palin, Amy Winehouse will all be on there. As well as the new Laugh-In routine. And I’m also cobbling together some outrageous footage of my recent trip to San Francisco’s Folsom Street fair.

And there’s a guy in NYC named Jonah Falcon with a 13 inch cock and he’s going to co-star in a video set to How Can I Ease The Pain by Lisa Fischer. A new genre–comedy porn! The perfect gift to horrify religious relatives with!

BRAVO King (Queen?)  Andy Cohen was there last week. “Tuesday night I went to the opening of The Lady Bunny’s first new stage show in ten long years called “That Ain’t no Lady” at Escualita.  It was as filthy as all get out and a ton of fun. Do not go if you are averse to filth!”

“Bunny had me shaking with laughter.”
–Michael J. Fox

“My jaw dropped.”
–Roger Ebert

“I laughed my tits off.”
–Chaz Bono

“No one can remove dog cum from a wig like Lady Bunny.”
–Martha Stewart

“Wait! Bunny performs more than fellatio?”
–The Harlem Globetrotters

“Bunny is such a classy lady that I wanted to take her home.”
–Eddie Murphy

“I would have personally driven her mother to Planned Parenthood.”
–Michele Bachmann

“Halfway through this show, we were hoping a tiger would run out into the audience and kill us.”
–Siegfried and Roy

Lady Bunny in THAT AIN’T NO LADY! Tuesdays in October at La Escuelita

The raunchy, demented drag diva LADY BUNNY, of Wigstock fame presents her first full-length one wo-man show in almost a decade at the popular latin nightspot La Escuelita every Tuesday in October at 8PM. Fast-paced and action-packed with glitzy costumes and Bunny’s trademark gravity-defying bouffant wig, THAT AIN’T NO LADY is a cabaret designed for a night club crowd–no lengthy monologues or sappy show tunes here. For mature audiences who enjoy irreverent humor!

Though she just finished her second season of RUPAUL’S DRAG U on LOGO as the Dean Of Drag giving contestants “Lady Lessons”, Bunny’s deliciously bawdy brand humor is far from ladylike. Bunny re-works pop songs into hysterical parodies, using recent smashes like Ke$ha’s TIK TOK (which Bunny transforms into BIG COCK) to classics like ALL THAT JIZZ. No musical genre is sacred so expect to hear from everyone from Katy Perry to Taio Cruz to Britney and Whitney. Sprinkle in zany Laugh-In style joke routines for added politically incorrect fun.

The wacky blonde will also re-create some of her hit youtube videos, including her rap debut with a parody of Like A G6–the ode to uncircumcised men entitled Like A Cheese Stick, which was featured on Perez Hilton and Dlisted. Finally, a tribute to recently departed musical giants Amy Winehouse and Nick Ashford of Ashford and Simpson. And just wait until you get a load of Bunny as the monstrous “Scare” in a wicked spoof of Cher in BURLESQUE.

With a ticket price of $14.98 that’s as cheap as her humor and a recession-friendly 1 drink minimum, THAT AIN’T NO LADY provides over an hour of laughs for a decidedly affordable price. However, since Bunny’s singing has been known to drive audiences to drink, there is a strictly-enforced 25 drink maximum. And this show re-introduces a quintessentially NYC venue with a great stage and atmosphere while bringing some much-needed trash back to the increasingly Disney-fied Times Square area. After the show on opening night, Bunny will spin a dj set to satisfy the everyone’s gripe that they hate today’s dance music. So expect to hear dance classics like Deee-Lite, Crystal Waters, Whitney Houston and absolutely no Rihanna, Ke$ha, Gaga, Katy Perry or Britney.

For 1 hour after the show, 2-4-1 drinks will be offered.

GET YOUR TICKETS FOR LADY BUNNY  NOW!

PLEASE NOTE: Online ticket sales end 2 hour before showtime–ie 6PM. No credit cards are accepted at the door– Cash payments for admission only. Credit cards are accepted for drink purchases.

  CHER  TICKETS
         $15 !!!

I knew that would get your attention!

New Gay Talk Show
Tapes Live Pilot in NYC
“The HoMo’Nique Show”

July 29 – 31 at
The Laurie Beechman Theatre

* with Cher, Sarah Palin, stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Village People
cowboy, Michael Musto, Amanda LePore & more *

Oscar winner and acclaimed comedian Mo’Nique — as embodied by
RuPaul’s Drag Race sensation Stacy Layne Matthews
— comes to NYC to
tape a gay version of her popular B.E.T. talk show for the very low
budget G.E.T. (the fictional Gay Entertainment Television). That is
the concept behind “The HoMo’Nique Show”, a live talk show parody
beginning performances July 29 at The Laurie Beechman Theater at West
Bank Café.

“The HoMo’Nique Show” will be hosted by drag star Stacy Layne Matthews
as Mo’Nique. Each show will feature a different roster of gay-positive
icons and performers. The guest star lineup (which is still in
formation and subject to change) is as follows:

Friday, July 29 at 7:30pm
– Carmen Carerra  (from RuPaul’s Drag Race)
– Judy Garland (as embodied by Tommy Femia)
Amanda Lepore (transgender icon, fashionista, and recording artist)
– Randy Jones (the original cowboy from The Village People)

Saturday, July 30 at 7:30pm

– Colton Ford (singer-songriter, actor and former porn star)
– Stacy Layne Matthews (from RuPaul’s Drag Race, live via satellite).

A native of Back Swamp, North Carolina. drag star Stacy Layne Matthews made big waves on season 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race standing out as one the token ‘plus size queens’. In one of the most memorable episodes, Matthews stole the show with a spot-on impersonation of Mo’Nique.

Entertianment Weekly’s Tanner Stransky  wrote, “I was absolutely mesmerized when she was on screen…. Besides the spot-on makeup, hair, and sweat suit, SLM most magnificently managed to nail every single one of Mo’Nique’s ticks, like that nasty, snorty grunt she’d always cough out.”

Since appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race she has performed throughout the US including gigs in Alaska, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Milwaukee.  This past June, she made her
Off-Broadway debut in My Big Gay Italian Wedding.

“The HoMo’Nique Show” runs Friday July 29 – Sunday, July 31 at 7:30pm.

LGBT ACADEMY OF RECORDING ARTS (LARA) 7th ANNUAL OUTMUSIC AWARDS May 23

THE BIGGEST NIGHT IN LGBT ENTERTAINMENT
IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER

THE LGBT ACADEMY OF
RECORDING ARTS (LARA)
WILL HOST
 7th ANNUAL
OUTMUSIC AWARDS

AT IRVING PLAZA
 MAY 23, 2011 AT 8 P.M.

Celebrating  20 years of music history while honoring and documenting the contributions of openly LGBTQ recording artists and performers in the music industry.

Originally scheduled for December 2010, the OUTMUSIC Awards were postponed due to economic difficulties. However, in response to the postponement, the organization has received overwhelming offers of support from companies and individuals in the community.

“So many openly gay recording artists and entertainers like Melissa Etheridge, Ricky Martin, Elton John, Ellen DeGeneres, Lance Bass and many others have exemplified courage to come out as an effort to erase the stigma associated with being openly gay in the music & entertainment industry,” says Diedra Meredith, chairwoman and CEO of OUTMUSIC –The LARA.  “We continue alongside these entertainment greats with our mission to bring awareness to these artists’ contributions in the music industry and do away with the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy many have adopted.  We are happy to support these individuals and our many Academy members by honoring and documenting the success each has achieved that would, often time, be overlooked with the 7th Annual OUTMUSIC Awards.”

The OUTMUSIC Awards ceremony is the biggest night in LGBT entertainment and only organization of its kind in the world.   The highest and most prestigious honor in LGBT music, the 2010 OMAs will be hosted by Comedienne Tammy Peay with special appearance by Jonathan D. Lovitz and cast of Logo TV’s hit show “The Setup Squad”, Sahara Davenport of RuPaul’s Drag Race, cast from Logo TV’s the A-List, .

Bruce Vilanch at Queens Theatre May 7th

Bruce Vilanch is a comedy writer, songwriter and actor, who is “One of the most sought-after jokesmiths in the entertainment industry”.

The six-time Emmy Award-winner is known to those ‘in the know’ in Hollywood and New York as “the fat guy who writes everyone’s jokes.”

He is best known as a writer for TV awards shows; he’s co-written 21 Oscar broadcasts, as well as a featured writer for the Tonys, Grammys and Emmys and his 4-year stint on Hollywood Squares, as both a performer and writer.

This years Oscars with James Franco – was a little…strange….

New York magazine caught up with Bruce Vilanch recently and asked him what happened.

“I have to call James Franco and tell him the show’s over,” Vilanch quipped. “He doesn’t know. He took a nap and he woke up in class.”

Was Vilanch saying Franco’s sleepy performance was due to an actual lack of sleep?

“He has so many balls in the air, he didn’t get to town till Thursday before the show on Sunday. And so we e-mailed a lot. But we had a lot of meetings. He had a bunch of people who were writing for him, and if it had been him alone, it would have been different. But it was him and Anne Hathaway, and they both had to be serviced. So there was a lot of communication beforehand. But he didn’t get there.”

Vilanch continued: “I don’t think he realized how big a deal it is to do it until he was actually confronted with it. I think he thought he would kind of … I don’t know what he thought. I thought maybe it was a performance-art prank, and then I realized he sincerely wanted to do it. But it’s outside of those guys’ comfort zones. The only people who know how to host those shows are people who get up onstage every night and say, ‘Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. A funny thing happened … ‘ Or people like Bette [Midler] who get up and sing all night and tell stories.”

Was Franco maybe stoned, as was rumored? “No, he wasn’t high,” Vilanch said. “I was with him, and he wasn’t high. And I asked him, ‘Are you high, and can I have some?’ And he said no to both.”

BRUCE is  performing on May 7th at Queens Theatre in the Park.

Tickets are $37, Senior $35, Student $22 and are now available online at Queens Theatre or by calling 718-760-0064. Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the Box Office,  1 hour prior to performances, if available.

KATHY GRIFFIN is a collector!  She  wants one award from every possible category!

Unfortunately for her, she will not get a Tony anytime soon. Her one-woman shows in  NYC  March 11 -19th – a total of  eight shows, does not qualify for a nomination. 🙁

Griffin may be known as the quintessential D-list diva, but not afraid to dish on everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Cher. She has shopped for bikinis with Paris Hilton, screamed and cheered alongside the “Clay-mates,” and allegedly had a serious romantic relationship with Levi Johnston. You won’t, however, catch her riffing on the Jews, the lesbians, or Barbara Walters – this divine diva knows her limits! Kathy Griffin is a multi-faceted performer whose rapid-fire wit has garnered her multiple Emmy Awards and two Grammy Award nominations for Best Comedy Album.

Lady Bunny and Friends do Burlesque Tribute

Lady Bunny and friends
are  back this with week
with a parody of
Cher in Burlesque!

Written by and directed by Lady Bunny, and she also stars as “Scare”.

Bunny Says, “Before you rabid fans attack, just wanted to let you know that I am aware that my Cher voice sounds more like Elvis and that unlike me, Cher was never fat.

I love Cher. She’s been putting out quality material for most of my life. Of course, she’s older now and has gone overboard on the surgery so I don’t mind making fun of a genuinely talented performer who has a few quirks. With older glamorpussses like Cher and Dolly Parton, it’s hard to tell whether constant surgeries are their own personal obsession or whether they simply know that their looks are a big part of their appeal and so they MUST correct any signs of aging. As much as we criticize their transformations, we’d be the first to mock them if they developed a turkey neck , jowl or bag which wasn’t instantly sucked out, yanked up or smoothed. It’s a Catch-22 situation.

I’m also a fan of Xtina’s phenomenal voice–when someone can get it through her head that you don’t need to show off and riff on every single note as the producers of her hit Beautiful did. Xtina sings a hauntingly beautiful power ballad in Burlesque which is quite similar to Beautiful with some gorgeous chords. And Christina gives a compelling performance while singing it, I think her “acting” is best suited to selling a song in music videos, which Burlesque is really a string of with a tired storyline binding the whole thing together.”

Beloved downtown NYC clown David Ilku appears in the Stanley Tucci role. In addition to being 1/2 of the ridiculously funny Duelling Bankheads, David is 1/3 of the demented comedy troupe Unitard .
(Unitard on Facebook .)

Versatile Greg Scarnici  plays Christina Hag-uilera to the hilt as well as many other kooky characters.   He’s published an outrageous parody of Madonna’s Sex book called Sex In Drag as well as starred in dozens of youtube videos. His youtube channel is a must see !

A very special thanks to Louie Garay, Kriss and Big Ben from La Escuelita, NYC’s premiere latin dance club which has the best drag stage in town. It was the perfect setting for this madness.

My Big Gay Italian Wedding Approaches 1 Year Anniversary

ADAM ZELASKO says he is,
“so friggin’ excited to make his
Off-Broadway debut in
My Big Gay Italian Wedding!”

MBGIW is a hit! Adam has been in the show since its opening last May, and this May,  the show will celebrate it’s one year anniversary!

Previously, you may have caught him in the  national tours of  Legally Blonde: The Musical! (Nikos/US Warner), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Jimmy Smith);  We first spotted this hottie in Chicago in  Altar Boyz at the Drury Lane Water Tower (Juan/US Matthew).

Michael Cavnaugh from GayLifeNYC.org  caught up with Adam and crowned him Broadway Hero of the Month.  Adam Zelasko chats with HIVHERO.org  and  founder Michael Cavnaugh about his role in My Big Gay Italian Wedding, being from Buffalo- his qurks and what makes him one of the hottest new stars in New York City. Check out this super hot, and sweet guy.

He is smart, gorgeous and has the best hair in show business!  – You can also catch him at the Chelsea David Barton gym, where he just started working as a personal trainer.

MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING
will soon celebrate its one year anniversary!

Co-Presented by DINA MANZO from THE REAL HOUSEWIVES of NJ, she and some of the other housewives stop by often and will make appearances in the show! (Everyone except Danielle Staub!)

My Big Gay Italian Wedding is presented by Anndee Productions, Donna DiCrescento, Frank Levinson, and Dolores Naso, in addition of Ms Manzo.

So what’s it all about?   Planning a wedding can be hell, but planning to ruin a wedding can be a hell of a lot of fun!  Andrew and Anthony are getting married and everyone wants to “help”! MBGIW  spins into hysterical fiasco as everyone tries to have their way. From a saboteur ex-boyfriend to a loud, opinionated, outspoken Italian mother, personalities and culture collide in a music and dance-filled extravaganza.

The show has gotten rave reviews! And currently has tickets on sale thru late May.

Since the beginning, the show has attracted  many stars making  guest appearances!  Originally it launched with Amazing Race star and hottie/model/author   Reichen Lehmkuhl and also with  David Moretti from The Lair.

Besides the Real Housewives making an appearance now and then,  there have been appearances by Lance Bass, Austin Peck, and out-and-proud Salon Takeover Diva Tabatha Coffey ! – Tabatha will be coming back to the show, later this month!

You can’t have a big gay Italian wedding without big and beautifully teased hair,” says Coffey, “so I knew that this was the show for me. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the holiday season in New York  than with these big, buffed boys and beautifully buffed broads at My Big Gay Italian Wedding.”

Mid-March the show will host a special “Soap Week” with guest appearances from various soap opera stars.

ILENE KRISTEN is currently in the role of Aunt ToniAnn. Perhaps best known for her portrayal of Delia Ryan on Ryan’s Hope, she is currently the gambling, beer-guzzling and always inappropriate hairdresser Roxy Balsom on One Life to Live.
She originated the role of Patty Simcox in Grease and portrayed the infamous Leona Helmsley in Mayor.

Back to Dina Manzo. She commented in an interview last year, about her involvement with the show. “I’m very dear friends with the writer, who’s also one of the stars, Anthony Wilkinson. And I went to see the play. He had a preview of it in Staten Island, and I just loved it. I fell in love with what it stands for, obviously. I told him, “Now is the time to bring this a little further with gay marriage being in the spotlight. We can have people who were a little hesitant to approach the topic come and see it and laugh and see how heartfelt and funny it is, and approach it in a different way — open some other minds to the possibility of equality.”

Anthony Wilkinsons first  production of My Big Gay Italian Wedding  was  In 2003, beginning with a six week run at The Actors Playhouse in New York City, eventually moving to Theatre Four and extending for almost a year. Three years later, Anthony wrote and starred in another gay musical, Boys Just Wanna Have Fun, which also ran at The Actors Playhouse.

A supporter of gay rights and Marriage Equality, Anthony realized it was time for the return of My Big Gay Italian Wedding, and returned to the original script, transforming it and creating a show that was bigger, better and more explosive than before.

The re-creation premiered in September of 2009 at the historic St. George Theatre in Staten Island, as a one night only benefit for Pancreatic Cancer Research. The reception it received proved that the time was right for the show’s return to the off-Broadway stage, where Anthony is once again reprising his original role.  Spring of 2010 the show opened at St. Lukes Theatre, 308 West 46th Street, and is going strong!

New Yorker Randy Rainbow Gets His break on American Idol!

You have  to love the whole Web 2.0 movement. When I grew up, and I am dating myself (gasp!) we didn’t have YouTube, Twitter or even the Internet! The world is an oyster now. Anyone can be their own PR agent and get seen by millions.

Justion Bieber is probably the biggest example.YouTuber discovered by Scooter Braun.
Look at Waiter Rant !  Waiter blogger gets a 2 book deal and TV show!
Waiter Rant: Thanks for the Tip–Confessions of a Cynical Waiter (P.S.)
Keep the Change: A Clueless Tipper’s Quest to Become the Guru of the Gratuity

Then there was the Twitter Sensation Justin – ShitMyDadSays .
Book deal   Sh*t My Dad Says and TV show.

Unless you have been under a rock the past year , New Yorker gay jew Randy Rainbow has become “the one to watch” over the past 6 months. He posted his breakout video, “Randy Rainbow is Dating Mel Gibson ,” in July, 2010. It received more than 60,000 views in one week. Since then his videos have become somewhat famous!

Subsequent videos include “Randy Rainbow Calls Lindsay Lohan,” “Randy Rainbow Calls Dr. Laura,” “The Morning After Chelsea’s Wedding,”  “Randy Rainbow Kicks It with Kanye West,” and “Randy Rainbow Spends Christmas with Mel Gibson.” Porn star  Brent Corrigan appeared as himself in “Randy Rainbow Makes a Sex Tape (w/Mel Gibson).” Randy’s cat, Mushi Rainbow, also plays a prominent role in his videos.

Now, he does American Idol ! This is the BEST video yet! This guy is so clever! And so funny!

Randy Rainbow is a blogger and quite the  Internet celebrity these days, and based in New York.  Rainbow created his blog, The Randy Rainbow Bloggity BLAHg-BLAHg , to document his theatrical experiences and “kvetch about my day-to-day as a single homo in the city.”

He has been called BRILLIANT, HILARIOUS,  SUPER FUNNY…his mother says he is the Perez Hilton of Broadway!

Q The Series – Online Video Show From Columbia Students

“Q” is a comedic miniseries, which is to be aired online, about a queer group of friends in college and the antics they get into.

It’s a comedy about queer life on campus that addresses a wide range of topics in the LGBT community and how our generation deals with them — the main characters include trans, bisexual, pansexual, and homosexual guys and girls.

Being a comedy, the show focuses on the positive aspects of living in a community and generation that’s closer to accepting queer lifestyles, but also addresses the natural tensions that can arise.

Currently, it is still in production (for an online release and advanced screening next spring), but they are  trying to get awareness out now and already have a trailer for the series up online.

The show is produced completely by students in the city, mostly from Columbia University, and is a non-profit endeavor. Funding has been generously provided by the Gatsby Foundation (providing many on-campus arts grants), and equipment has been donated by Columbia University Film Productions (an undergraduate film club). The remaining funding will hopefully be raised through our Kickstarter account.

It’s the aim of the cast and crew to spread awareness of the different lifestyles that exist in our generation — we really want to show the fun side of being a young adult in this new cultural era. Our production team is working to make the best show out of everything we’ve got.

The show will be shooting over the month of January, and is planned for release over the months of March and April. The first few episodes of the show will be screened to our supporters and crew in New York City before the release of the series.

Check out Q The Series !    Also join them on Facebook !

Lady Bunny and Steve Willis Spoof Katy Perrys California Girls

LADY BUNNY is  back with a new spoof song!

Bunny is one of the hardest working bitches in drag!  Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, she has lived in New York since the 1980s. She loves to spoof pop songs with nasty lyrics added!  Her newest creation is a take on Katy Perrys California Girls .

Written by and starring Lady Bunny
Directed by Steve Willis. Co-starring Lavinia Co-op, Shealita Babay, Sugga Pie KoKo, Go-go hunk Matthew Camp (who I worship!) and several unknown skanks found in the hills without any ID and unable to speak clearly enough to identify themselves.

This is all meant in demented good fun–I’m from Tennessee myself!”  Lady Bunny.
