Emmy-winning actress will  return to the New York stage June 30 in a brand-new show entitled The Judy Show: My Life as a Sitcom. The solo show, which was written by Gold and Kate Moira Ryan, will be directed by Amanda Charlton, who helmed the production’s earlier incarnation at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

The Judy Show also features songs by Gold and Ryan with additional material by Eric Kornfeld and Bob Smith.   The Judy Show, according to Variety, “chronicles Gold’s current life as the lesbian mother of two as well as the avid television enthusiasms of her childhood.”
