Pam Anderson and Star Studded Guest List for NYCLASS Benefit

Yorkers for Clean, Livable and Safe Streets (NYCLASS) will host “A
Night of New York Class” Gala on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 6:00 PM
to 11:00 PM at the Edison Ballroom in Manhattan (240 West 47
th Street).

Actress
Pamela Anderson will be the Mistress of Ceremonies for the event.  The
organization will honor award-winning actresses, Kathy Najimy and
Kristen Johnston
, paying tribute to their efforts in the fight against
animal cruelty. In addition, there will be live performances by Joan
Jett and The Blackhearts, Ivan Neville and D.J. Alexandra Richards.
   

Notable attendees include Liv Tyler, Russell Simmons, Patti Smyth, John
McEnroe, Ron Delsener, Chuck & Ellen Scarborough, Lady Bunny, and
Miss USA, Olivia Culpo.
The Gala will help raise awareness of NYCLASS’s
fight against the horse carriage industry with event proceeds benefiting
NYCLASS’s efforts to push for an alternative to New York’s horse
carriages. 

 

NYCLASS
continues to work to pass Intro. 86A, legislation that calls for a
phase-out and safe retirement of horse carriages in New York City and
replacing them with the 21st Century “Horseless Carriage”,
electric-powered vehicles styled and constructed to replicate turn of
the century cars. The 14 accidents involving horse carriages this year
alone have resulted in a majority of the city council now in favor of
Intro 86A.
