What happens when you temporarily take in a Hurricane Katrina refugee?
    …fall in love with him?
…help him “get back on his feet?”
…or reexamine the tragedies of your own past?
    …or all of the above?

A Conversation with Kevin Scott Hall by writer/actor Ben Rimalower discussing Hall’s new memoir A Quarter Inch From My Heart. On the 20th anniversary of a nearly fatal street stabbing, Hall releases his Amazon bestseller. In measured yet humorous prose, he illuminates the years after the headlines fade. Hall has publicly worn many proverbial hats including author, college educator and singer; but it isn’t until this daring book that he reveals what only a handful have known. He’s been a caregiver to a Katrina refugee, a street-stabbing survivor and perhaps his most challenging role: a human being.

  3. Hi Best Gay New York!!!

I’m starting in an all new black LGBT web series that is set to break the Internet when it premieres in late February. I think that you’re going to fall in love with it once you see what’s in store for this “seriously sexy drama”. The show was filmed in Atlanta, GA, but we are looking to do a screening in NYC. I would absolutely love it if you posted this on your blog. Below, is a clip to one of three teasers that we have trending as we speak.

I really hope you like it.

    Thank You,
    Brandon Karson
