GAYFACE: 1st Class prepares to launch on April 8th. We are excited to announce that our project is ready to launch – GAYFACE: 1st Class uses photo portraiture to empower queer individuals and give the public a personal relation to the individual. Alongside with its sister project ALLYFACE, which allows allies of the LGBTQ+ community to show their support.

Ashley Kolodner began GAYFACE as a personal project in 2011, but in 2012 it gained traction as a powerful way to give a voice to the LGBTQ+ community. Since then we’ve been taking the project where ever we could and are ready to take it national.

 My mission through GAYFACE: 1st CLASS, and the accompanying ALLYFACE photo series is to unite and empower the full-spectrum LGBTQ+ community and our allies.
