Three Legends! One Stage! Lypsinka, Whoopi Goldberg and Charles Busch March 23rd

On Monday, March 23, 2009, Lypsinka, Whoopi Goldberg, Charles Busch and Bryan Batt (from the hit TV show "Mad Men") mount the stage together for a staged reading of James Kirkwood's LEGENDS! In full costume! And holding scripts! The event is at New York City's Town Hall at 8 p.m.

FYI - In the mid-1980s, still basking in the afterglow of his success as a co-author of A Chorus Line, James Kirkwood wrote a play called Legends!, all about the (supposedly) comic mayhem that results when a hot-shot young producer tries to sign two feuding, fading Hollywood stars to star in a Broadway play. Kirkwood's opus began  a pre-Broadway tour in Dallas in 1986, with real-life theater legends Carol Channing and Mary Martin respectively starring as Sylvia Glenn and Leatrice Monsée. Then someone had the brilliant idea to resurrect the show  starring former Dynasty co-stars Joan Collins and Linda Evans!

This current cast sounds like it'll fun and entertaining! Charles is a classic!  Whoopi is top drawer! And Lypsinka is  brilliant and  always wildly entertaining! All three LEGENDS! PS - Lypsinka has adapted the play for this staged reading. We guarantee some fun surprises!
