This site is primarily about New York City. However, we are not opposed to covering New York State. To date, we have only had ONE Press Release sent to us - and we did this story about Hudson Valley. Perhaps you missed it?
If you have some information to share - please send it along or call us. You left a bogus email on your comment, therefore I can not contact you directly.
Top Denver Photographers Head to the Big Apple

Free Photographs for New York’s First Gay Weddings
July 20, 2011 (Denver, CO) – Say Cheese! It’s the picture-perfect moment and two of Denver’s top wedding photographers are going to be there to capture it…for free!
To show support for the newly legalized gay marriage in New York, Kristy Rowe, owner of Moodeous Photography, and Jessica Bergthold, owner of This Modern Life Photography, will be jetting out to the Big Apple to take free photographs of gay and lesbian couples receiving their marriage licenses the first week that the new law goes into effect.
Any couple picking up their marriage license at the Marriage License Office in Manhattan at 141 Worth Street can have their pictures taken. There is no need for appointments or to register ahead of time. The only stipulation is couples must have their license in hand at the time of the photograph.
Free Photo Sessions Schedule
Manhattan Marriage License Office Sunday, July 24, 2011: 8:30am-4:30pm (12-1 at lunch)
Monday, July 25, through Wednesday, July 27: 8:30am-6:30pm (2-3 at lunch)
All of the celebratory photographs taken at the marriage license office will be available for viewing online at A Vote and A Vow in August. Each couple will also have their picture emailed to them if they provide an email address at the time of the photo session.
A Vote and A Vow is a just-launched LGBT wedding blog, founded by Jessica Bergthold and Kristy Rowe, dedicated to providing inspiration, resources, guidance and solutions for LGBT couples as they plan the biggest event of their lives. This new blog can be found at www.avoteandavow.com.
